*Role* : SR. C/C++ developer w/ mobile exp *Location* : Chicago IL *Duration* : 6+ months *MOI* : Phone and Skype *Visa* : USC or GC or EAD only. Senior C/C++ Developer to develop cross platform libraries for mobile navigation and mapping products, which will be used on both Android / iOS (iPhone, iPad & iPod) and automotive embedded platforms. Experience with Navigation or Location services or Mapping / map tools products is desired. *Responsibilities : * * Software design and architecture * Integrate software modules into products * Manage software availability, latency, scalability and efficiency * Develop product functionality that will be used daily by millions of users around the world * Build unit tests to lock down algorithm behavior and guarantee success * Participate in all phases of development (specification, design, development and bug fixing) *Requirements: * * Extensive experience in C / C++ development (3 years+) * Web development: javascript, JQuery, php, html5, css, Ajax. * Databases: Mysql, Oracle, Postgresql, MongoDB. * OSs: Linux, UNIX, or Windows * Work experience in Cross platform C/C++ library development * Knowledge about developing multi-threading highly scalable components * Know-how on writing applications using the STL and/or BOOST *Additional skills that are considered a plus: * * Experience in working with complex algorithms and mathematical equations * Experience with graphs and related algorithms * OpenGL, geometry and linear algebra knowledge * Design pattern knowledge * Agile software development experience * Experience in XCode, QT, Visual Studio and other IDEs * Experience in working with Android, iOS and/or other mobile devices * AWS experience * Experience with techniques for parallel, distributed computing over big data, such as MapReduce Framework, Hadoop.
