DESCRIPTION OF ROLE The CTP ORACLE/OBIEE analyst developer will be responsible for analysing existing client-facing and internal data extraction and reporting within the ORACLE/OBIEE suite and formally defining, and refining where relevant, the requirements satisfied by such data extraction and reporting. The analyst developer will be expected to make recommendations as to the optimal solution for each set of requirements, e.g. status quo ante, re-factor in OBIEE, re-factor in Crystal Reports. The analyst/developer may also be required to define requirements and develop solutions in OBIEE to meet emerging business requirements. The analyst developer will report to and receive direction from the CTP IT project manager but will be expected to work largely unsupervised on a day to day basis and must therefore be possessed of sufficient presence and gravitas to enable productive interaction with high activity business colleagues.
