*Title: Jr. Cognos BI Developer* *Location: Fort Worth, TX/Phoenix, AZ(locals)* *Duration: 6 Months* *Phone + F2F / Locals Only* *Client: American Airlines* Our client is looking for Cognos Developers with a minimum of five years of broad, hands-on Cognos experience. Recent job history should include the use of Framework Manager, Report Studio and Transformer at a minimum. Candidates should be thoroughly screened by their contracting firm before submitting the resume. *Responsibilities:* · Interact with business unit users for requirement gathering and development process · Use Cognos Framework Manager to build models, packages and publish packages · Use Cognos Report Studio to develop standard and complex reports · May be required to use Cognos Transformer to create cubes based on business requirements and create the related drill-through reports · Act as point-of-contact for Cognos consumers within the business unit; coordinate with in-house BI team for deployments and central communications · Mentor other developers for support of newly created reports · Create technical specifications and documentation · Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English; may be required to make presentations to end-users at all levels within the business *Experience:* · Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
