*Position : SQL Server 2008 Developer*

*Location: Jersey City, NJ*

*Duration: 10 Months*



*Responsibilities**:**
*Responsible for determining client area application systems requirements
for new or modified application programs, the preparation of system
specifications, and the development, testing and implementation of
efficient, cost effective application solutions. Receives general direction
from the Manager.

*Requirements**:*
1. Has 8+ years experience with at least 2-3 of the last 5 years working in
Capital Markets (Investment Accounting and Portfolio Performance Measurement
preferably).
2. Having experience with using Foglight and Spotlight by Quest
Softwarewould be a big advantage.
3. Has heavy hands-on coding /testing duties, and may have some supervisory
duties in instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of other
Systems Analyst/Programmers.
4. Generates clear and concise system design documentation, and presents and
explains design decisions to peers and business/product subject matter
experts.
5. Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling technical related
projects in the section.
6. Work closely with business analysts to identify and specify complex
business requirements and processes.
7. Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of
the development and implementation process.
8. May coordinate the activities of the section with the client area and
other IT sections (e.g. data base, operations, technical support)
