The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team in the successful execution of a major enhancement or new functionality. In addition, the Project Manager will interface with support groups to complete the project. Responsibilities include leading the full System Development Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, development, testing, and implementation of the project. Also, the Project Manager will create and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, status reports and other project documentation. A main focus of the Project Manager is to develop and maintain successful working relationships with the project team and user group. 8+ years of experience in project management of software development projects in an application development environment. Must possess strong project management, organizational, and communications skills and the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical staff. Ability to work in an environment with multiple and changing demands essential. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of project management methodology focused on project implementation. Experience working with multiple user groups in one project necessary.
