*Tech –* exp with ABAP, BEx WAD, and/or SAP IP
*Must Haves : *
· B.A./B.S.; Strong experience with SAP BW and BEx.
· Data modeling and Web Application Designer experience related to
SAP BW.
· Should possess a good SAP BW related ABAP programming knowledge.
· IP experience preferred.
· Knowledge and experience related to SAP modules HR, FI and SRM
preferred.
· Ability to research and solve technical problems using SAP OSS
database preferred.
· Appropriate SAP certifications are also preferred.
· Ability to document technical specifications.
· Knowledge of procedural programming languages preferred.
· At least five years of related IT experience, preferably in
Higher Education.
We are looking for knowledge/experience in at least two of the three levels
of BW:
· ABAP
· BEx WAD
· SAP IP (integrated Planning)
*Day to day : *
· Involvement in all direct and indirect activities associated with
development and support of the SAP reporting environment at Boston
University.
· Report to the Senior BW Lead as part of the SAP Reporting Team.
· Mainly accountable for, but not limited to, the technical
development and maintenance of reporting objects in SAP BW (ETL, modeling,
and reporting).
· Develop and test BW objects.
· Follow development standards and guidelines.
· Work closely with end users in the development and maintenance of
BW Objects.
· Produce adequate documentation to facilitate the maintenance of
the objects created.
