If the candidate performs well on the telephone interview and they go on to a final Skype interview, they will have to provide a copy of their scripting work*. *Description: * *We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Scripting and Virtualization. * The team supports all the remote locations and they have to send down scripts to 1000+ locations to execute deployments, updates, etc.. Powershell is the preferred scripting tool, however the manager said he will consider someone with strong C#, VB, or other batch file skills because they are translatable into Powershell. Hyper-V is the remote locations Virtualization environment. They deploy into that environment. Imaging, Deployment, and Scripting all are important. The manager will hire over Phone and Virtual interview. Copies of scripts are required upon a Virtual interview request. · Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting or C#, VB or batch file skills. · Virtualization: Hyper-V · General networking, storage and server hardware *Duties/Responsibilities: * · Provides enterprise wide technical assistance and guidance to the client community and the Technical Services staff members with regard to Active Directory, Windows Server, PowerShell, Hyper V. · Meets with client groups to review and advice on server implementations, citing tactical options and explanations of each. · Provides knowledge of Active Directory domain based environments and experience using login scripts and scripting tools (PowerShell a must) to augment team functions. · Provides experience with VMWare ESX and vSphere, including host build and guest deployment/management. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and small to medium scale project planning. · Other duties as assigned. *Experience Required: * · * 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows environment.* · Significant experience with *Windows 2008 is required*; in depth knowledge of *Active Directory in a Windows 2008/2012 environment*, *including design and rollout is required. * · Broad experience supporting a large environment, including troubleshooting and daily maintenance is required. · Experience using* PowerShell scripts to resolve workstation (registry)* · Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills · Detailed knowledge of hardware and software technologies is very important. · Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new skills as trained.
