*Designation**:: Security QA Tester* *Work Location**: **:* *SFO, CA* *Duration**:: Contract* *- 4+ years of experience in Security Testing.* - BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. MS in the same fields is preferred. MS is equivalent to 2 years of experience, but at least 2+ year of professional experience is required. - Expert in automation (QTP and/or Selenium) a big plus - Excellent communications within and without the group - pending interview - Very good attitude - pending interview. Roles and Responsibilities - Accountable for testing interactive web based applications and reporting the metrics. - Test mobile applications on a range of platforms including iOS, Android and others - Documents and builds Functional Test Plans which encompass the business requirements specific to each application. - Develop test plans and test cases for complex, multi-tier distributed SOA applications. - Ability to work in agile environment. - Participate in unit testing - Support the UAT team and provide test support during test phases. - Ability to work with distributed teams (including offshore). Skills required - Strong technical experience in testing web based, client server applications - Experience in testing healthcare applications, Knowledge required in Facets modules (membership, claims, Provider etc.) - Highly efficient team member comfortable working with different projects teams in agile environments. - Hands on experience in creating test plans/test cases and reporting in ALM - Hand on experience working in continuous build deployment environment. - Experience working with JIRA. - Expertise skill in SQL and databases for data mining, test data set up and for troubleshooting - Working knowledge of object-oriented concepts - Mobile and Mobile App testing experience required - IVR/VRU testing experience is a plus - Familiar with various automated test frameworks, be able to design from scratch if needed - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting analytical skills - Big data analytics expertise and/or statistics knowledge is a plus Tools of trade: - Knowledge of HP-Unified Functional Testing - Experience with a test automation framework (i.e., Selenium, WebDriver and Selenium Grid) - Experience with Java, JavaScript, DOM. - Knowledge of Build script with Maven Concept of QA: - Experience with concept of Data-Driven test, - Experience with Unit testing (JUnit), Behavior Driven Dev testing (Cucumber-JVM) Security element: - Understanding of web application vulnerability - Experience with using local proxy like Burp, OWASP Zap, or Fiddler.
