*Duration: 480 hours (3 months)*
*Working Model: Onsite/Remote. The first 2 weeks of the engagement the
consultant will be required to be onsite. *
*H1-B Or GC Or USC*
*Minimum:8+ years of experience*
Highlighted Technical Requirements:
· The consultant must have SAS/GRID performance tuning experience.
· The consultant will manage and preform performance tuning of the
current SAS/GRID environment.
· The consultant will distribute the processing of SAS processes
optimally across the SAS /GRID environment.
a. The consultant must have experience monitoring and managing the
SAS/GRID environment. Concentration on compute nodes and meta data server
with focus on SAS job parallelization, object spawners , workspace/stored
process server, and Load Sharing Facility (LSF) tuning.
1. Backup and Restore: Evaluation full and incremental backup/restore
strategy.
1. Candidate must quickly gain an understanding of the client’s SAS Grid
platform and recommend changes based on best practices and product
enhancements. Experience developing non-standard SAS solutions;
thinking outside the “SAS” box is a plus.
1. Experience and knowledge of Network File System (NFS) on LINUX
platform is a plus
