Performance Test Lead Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in Performance
Testing

Responsibilities:

·         Interact with project leads/overseas coordinators/Business
Analysts and development leads to gain good understanding of the
application’s nonfunctional testing requirements

·         Retail domain experience desirable

·         Identify high level test scenarios from the requirements
specification

·         Design and develop test cases and scripts to address business and
technical use cases

·         Liaise with project leads/overseas coordinators for test
case/scripts review and sign-off

·         Work efficiently with performance testing tools like HP Load
Runner, HP Performance Center, Jmeter etc.

·         Preparing performance test plans, devising performance test
strategies, managing test data and ability to identify non-functional
requirements through business requirements analysis and architecture
topology information

·         Conducting different types of performance tests: Load, Volume,
Stress, Failover, Scalability etc. along with strong background in and
coordination of multiple resources/teams/vendors from different
geographical location

·         Allocate tasks to team members and monitor

·         Execute effective review and ensure quality of deliverables

·         Interact with customer via status calls on a daily/weekly/monthly
basis

·         Help to conduct root-cause analysis and anticipate performance
concerns -Apply knowledge of Web and applications servers’ Performance

·         Experience in monitoring tools like NEW RELIC

·         Experience in different protocols – Web services, Web / HTTP,
Thick/ Thin client

·         MQ Performance Testing using ‘Java User’ Protocol

·         Should effectively work towards common goals by supporting,
encouraging, and sharing information with colleagues

·         Coordinating peer reviews and internal sign off. S/he will also
mentor junior test engineers and assist with query resolution. S/he will
also be responsible for assisting team lead in task allocation and
monitoring progress at sub-project/ Module Level, status reporting and
reviewing test artifacts of test engineers

Skills Required: Must have:

·         Experience in HP LoadRunner

·         Hands on creation of Performance Test Scripts and Complex PT
Executions

·         Experience in client facing activities

·         Experience in Manual Testing projects
Hands on testing work along with client team
