Job Description :


The IT Records Manager at Austin Energy will work as part of the Infomration 
Technology team to provide the leadership, management, coordination analysis 
and design required to develop, support and maintain an effective 
department-wide 
electronic records management prgram.

1. Implement electronic records management plan for Information Technology 
at Austin Energy.
2. Organize, review and applu appropriate indexing criteria to 
documents;recommending 
additions and revisions to established category and indexing structures
3. Collaborate with corporate records management analysts to formulate 
solutions 
to electronic management practices for the organization,serving as IT's liaison.
4. Reseacrh and document records management standards, 
processes,procedures,guidelines.
5. Identify and escalate records management issues.
6. Conduct training in sound records management practices and use of 
documentation 
and records management programs.
7. Create, maintain, and update forms, documents, indexes, and records 
management 
databases to track records documentation.
8. Lead teams to address records management issues within individual work 
groups, 
maintain compliance and good records management practices.
