One of our client is urgently looking for *QA Automation Tester*, below is the Job description, please feel free to call me back at 410-525-5082. *Note:* US Citizens and GC's Only *Automation test role* *Location: Hillboro, OR* *Duration: Longterm* *RESPONSIBILITIES* The Automation Test Engineer/Quality Engineer (QE) is responsible for working in partnership with other Automation engineers to build an Automation framework to house Smoke and comprehensive Regression test cases on Umpqua Bank’s Online Banking web applications, with the possibility of added Mobile tests. Once the framework is developed, the position will require developing and executing comprehensive suites of automated test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to the framework, and continued evaluation of test cases being created per User Stories, in an Agile/SCRUM environment. * REQUIREMENTS * - Ability to architect a brand new OOP Automation Framework for external Web & Mobile Application testing efforts. - Takes direction from Test Plans with Test Cases and converts them into POM Framework using Selenium Webdriver & Custom (C#/Java) Methods related to application feature sets. - Maintains records of test progress and test results. - Works closely with manual QA testers and other Automation Engineers to create an automated suite of comprehensive Regression tests. - Extends and enhances the Automation Library and Framework. - Works closely with Developers and Product Owners or Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements, as needed. - Works on an Agile/SCRUM team, representing the Automation effort within sprints. - Creates defects found in Automation, and works with QA, Development or other partners to track them through closure. - Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. - Estimates efforts to create automation framework and tests, and communicates progress clearly to management, as appropriate. - Participates in day-to-day QA activities. - Provides input on testing methods, processes, tools and systems. - Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. - May provide work leadership by assigning work and resolving problems. - May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others as subject matter expert. - Responsible for other duties as assigned. - Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
