Job Title: Tivoli Systems Engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6 plus Months Interview Process: Phone and then Face to Face Positon Overview: • Assess current deployment of the toolset, drive improvements, re-architect or replace with different solution • Develop solutions strategy, product selection and testing. Includes: • Assess current deployment of the toolset • Drive improvements • Re-architect or replace with different solution • Automation solutions • Responsible for PDLC for each application which includes: • Product evaluation • POC/Validation • Training plan / operational readiness documentation • Deploy to QA and test • Develop Product Roadmap Requirement: Candidate should have experience with deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and upgrading IBM Tivoli monitoring suite expertise in Onmibus, Netcool and ITM/APM agents. Additional experience with non-IBM monitoring is a plus. Candidate should be knowledgeable in both Linux and Windows platforms and must also have the ability to script in shell Perl and/or Python. Years of experience: 10+ years of experience with managing IBM Tivoli or similar products.
