They need a candidate that knows the interworking of SCCM and have to
troubleshoot it when it fails.



This is a hands on position.



They are currently going through a migration.



H1’s are OK but they must have perfect English.



This position is responsible for performing operations maintenance,
expansion and support of MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

This role should provide tactical and strategic input into standards,
roadmaps and technologies to enable a robust End User Services
Environment.  The key objectives for this role are enabling automation, end
user self-service and cost effectiveness.

*Essential Duties/Responsibilities:*

   - Serve as the primary IT resource for implementation and support of pc
   imaging, application packaging, application deployment, printing services
   and unified communications.
   - Assess current processes and practices for pc image, application
   packaging, software deployment and develop tailored processes to ensure end
   user satisfaction and ease of use.
   - Maintain understanding of future direction of technologies and
   products for desktop engineering/printing/mobility, including contributing
   to enterprise roadmaps and architectural discussions.
   - Support multiple, complex, and/or advanced application or IT systems.
   - Utilize project management skills to carry out responsibilities.
   - Provide input to planning groups on the impact of prospective upgrades
   and work effort required.
   - Perform impact analysis of new or expanding application or IT systems
   and coordinate with IT personnel to determine upgrades necessary to meet
   service level requirements.
   - Monitors /Remediates patch deployment, OS deployment, software
   deployment
   - Follows all change management policies, adheres to best practices when
   operating in a test environment and limited pilots before mass deployment
   - Partners with 3rd party managed services on packaging and OS
   deployment using SCCM
   - Creates new images for desktops, creates application packages to
   automate software installation, including self-service portal in SCCM
   - Creates patch management pushes for critical security issues
   - Tests and evaluates new MS and 3rd party patches for deployment
   - Creates and manages reports on hardware and software asset management
   using Asset Intelligence module of SCCM
   - Creates task sequences and policies in SCCM
   - Creates backups of all essential configurations for tracking and
   disaster recovery
   - Develops and delivers in house training for desktop team on client
   side SCCM support and backend side.
   - Keeps abreast of new technological advances in desktop engineering to
   further Enable’s investment
   - Translates technical terms to simple format for end users
   - Troubleshoots all SCCM client, desktop, application issues
   - Provides backup desktop support, Queue manager role and adhere to all
   SLA’s for resolution and response
   - Logs all work in ticket system and documents it per policy
   - Manages/backs up all images, patches and application packages
   - Manages hardware standards
   - Ensures regular reporting of software loads across enterprise for
   license compliance and policy purposes
   - Installs, configures, maintains and troubleshoots SCCM clients and
   packages deployed
   - Translates requirements into system design documents, operational
   procedures and user guides
   - Resolves problems in break/fix situations, including dealing with
   software and hardware vendor technical support as needed
   - Maintains SCCM runbook of all items, locations and configurations
   - Works with Group Policy in Active Directory for pushes and deployments

*Education and Experience Profile*

   - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology,
   Engineering, and/or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of
   education, training or work experience.
   - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
   - Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering SCCM for pcs.
   - Minimum of one (1) year of experience packaging in SCCM.

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*

   - Ability to configure and troubleshoot SCCM systems
   - Demonstrated ability to conduct application packaging, patching,
   operating system image creation and deployment, task sequences, driver
   lifecycle management, silent installations, knowledge of WMI, windows
   registry, SCCM report creation, pc hardware, printer management, mobility
   and AD Group Policy.
   - Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with members
   at all levels throughout the organization and outside professionals.
   - Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated.
   - Ability to make independent decisions and contribute to technology
   roadmaps.
   - Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using
   existing solutions.
   - Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities; project
   management skills.
   - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; make presentations to
   internal audiences, deal with customers in a service oriented modality.
   - Strong knowledge of most aspects of operating administration.
   - Strong knowledge of fundamental networking/distributed computing
   environment concepts.
   - Experience working in a ticketing system

*Working Conditions: *

   - Able to work in a fast paced office environment with high daily
   pressure.
   - Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
   - Able to work irregular or extended hours (nights and/or weekends)
   occasionally, as needed or required to meet established deadlines.
