The Senior Developer will have responsibility for developing and maintaining a Documentum based Content Management System driving the clients next generation College Online Learning platform working in an agile team with a global team of developers. Our client considers it mission critical that the candidate has demonstrated experience working well within a team environment. The client considers high level oral and written communication skills as essential Experience Required: 1. Atleast 5 years of hands-on Documentum, Java, WDK, DFC, XML Programming experience 2. Strong UI (design & implementation) with Documentum content management system 3. Team lead and system design experience 4. Project lifecycle development experience 5. Excellent Communication skills Must have experience on below technologies Technology: 6. Documentum v.6.x 7. Deep knowledge of XML/Schema 8. Strong DFC, WDK, DFS experience - ability to create advanced custom WDK components, standalone DFC & XML applications 9. Strong experience in Java/Unix environments 10. Very strong experience in working with XML Processing in Java 11. Performance optimization of custom code in Documentum (horizontal & vertical scaling of solutions, bulk data import/export) 12. Extensive Documentum life-cycle & workflow experience 13. Experience with data migration and correction of legacy data 14. Experience with custom applications & content migration from Documentum 6.0 to 6.5 Plusses: 15. J2EE 16. Documentum DFS experience advantageous and integrating Documentum with other java applications 17. Experience with common open source technology such as Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat/Jboss and familiarity with CVS/Subversion are especially advantageous 18. Database experience with Oracle, MySQL 19. Academic Web publishing experience 20. Exposure to MarkLogic, Documentum xDB or other Xquery database 21. Java Messaging Services using IBM MQ Series or similar SOA applications It is likely this project will renew many times and can be years long in duration.
