Still solid on middle tier *Job Description:*. · Apex Systems is currently seeking a .Net developer for a 1+ year contract in Columbus, OH. · Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. · Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported programming language (e.g., VB.NET, Visual C#). · Serve as technical expert on development projects. · Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. · Support, maintain, and document software functionality. · Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. · Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. · Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. · Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. · They use foundation for front-end, CSS · Actual JS framework - looking to establish moving forward has not been set up as a standard, but it’s Durandal (Angular/ember alternative) – any experience with knockout ideal · Web services – SOAP, Rest, some WCS · Looking for full stack developer, heavier on FE, still need to be pretty solid on middle tier though · Java web services: WebLogic · Good mix of .Net and Java for data access in business but legacy ASP forms moving forward will be MVC · Main language is C# · Webservices – normal SOAP/REST and WCF · Looking for full stack developer – heavier on front end.
