Recently a project was completed to build two new McAfee ePO environments, one for data center assets and one for end user assets. These new environments have been used to manage corporate IT controlled assets, and are now being opened up to manage all assets (Windows / OS X / NAS) for the firm. Must have a deep technical knowledge and demonstrable experience in managing the McAfee ePO platform, to join the Infrastructure Security Operations team to assist with this enterprise deployment. This is a new team that will be stood up to manage enterprise wide security tools, like anti-virus. Experienced security professionals are being sought out to assist with this effort, along with our enterprise patch and secure credentials efforts. *Responsibilities: * - Support, manage and maintain the two production McAfee ePO environments Testing in non-production and applying version updates to McAfee ePO in production Maintaining the health of agents Building and automating reports for agent health, scan results, etc - Managing the capacity and capabilities of the environment Enhancing the design as needed to support new functionality and resolve issues - Certification of new McAfee or Operating systems versions within the environment as they are released Management of anti-virus polices and processing of exemptions Facilitate and manage the rollout of McAfee anti-virus across the enterprise - Creating administrative trees within ePO for business units and sites Building training materials for managing ePO and performing training sessions with site administrators Assisting site administrators with deployment of ePO agents and policies - Provide troubleshooting support and advanced analysis of requests within the anti-virus environment for both Windows, OS X and NAS (currently using VirusScan for NetApp) Preparation and maintenance of documentation Cross-training other Infrastructure Security Operations team members on duties and functions - Participation in disaster recovery testing *Skills/Experience Required: * - 5 – 7 years' experience as a McAfee ePO administrator - 3 – 5 years' experience as a Windows administrator Experience with OS X Experience with VMware ESXi Working knowledge of Enterprise NAS technologies - Ability to quickly pick up new knowledge of specific applications within the environment - Strong attention to details with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution - Demonstrates constant consideration of risks and impacts especially with regards to changes such as security patching (i.e., change management) Scripting ability preferred (PowerShell, VBScript plus WMI extensions) *Educational Requirements: * - Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in related field Graduate Degree in Computer Science highly desired Thanks and Regards, Syed Layeeq New York Technology Partners – Rochester 332 Jefferson Rd.
