Description
• Define software quality best practices and procedures to
design, influence, and drive quality and testability of AT&T software
• Passion for developing quality oriented software frameworks,
and ensuring highest code quality
• Perform automated performance and functional testing of new
releases for customer facing web applications and server components
• Perform optimization and fine tuning HDFS related technologies
like Hadoop, HBase, Hive to accomplish performance & scalability
improvements
• Review functional and technical specifications to identify
requirements for creation of test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately
capture business requirements
• Execute all components of product testing such as acceptance,
functional, regression, end-to-end, performance, load, reliability &
scalability testing
• Apply technical expertise to challenging programming and
design problems relating to quality engineering
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme
Programming methodologies
Qualifications
• 8+ years of Strong development experience in Java6+
• Strong experience in Hadoop 2.6+, Hbase 0.98+ Hive 0.13+
• 8+ years experience developing in-house performance test
frameworks, tools & scripts
• Strong experience in performance testing low latency, high
throughput application servers
• Experience developing Plugins for functional and performance
test execution based on tools like Jmeter, Gatling etc.
• Strong experience with automated functional and performance
testing of user interfaces written in Java, Java Script, CSS, Ajax, +
libraries like jQuery, Datatable, Highchart, OpenLayer, Open Street Map
• 8+ years experience conducting white box test design, testing
techniques and unit testing with automation frameworks/harnesses (JUnit,
TestNG, NUnit, or Mockito, etc.)
• Experience testing web services (*REST or SOAP)*
Exp – QA/Testing --Software release
Test case writing And optimization data
• Experience with messaging systems like Fiorano, RabitMQ, Kafka
etc.
• Experience with RDBMS/ORDBMS systems like Oracle, Postgres etc.
• Experience with troubleshooting problems and fine-tuning
Hadoop grid for optimal job performance and scalability
• Experience with troubleshooting problems and fine-tuning HBase
configurations
• Experience with setting up and fine-tuning queries for optimal
performance Hive performance.
• Experience performance testing applications running on
webservers like tomcat/Jetty
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Strong experience with Unit testing & Test Driven Development
(TDD)
