Duration: 12 months+


Assist in the day-to-day administration of the existing Maximo v5.2
environment and project activities associated with upgrading from v5.2 to
v7.6.  This assistance will be required for six months beginning in late
August 2016.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consultant will participate in the following:
•    Day to Day Administration: Maintain value lists, monitor system
performance, interface monitoring and maintenance, assisting with ad-hoc
queries.
•    Data Cleansing, Consolidation and Conversion:  Data extracts and
manipulations, crosswalk between Maximo data and other systems to be
consolidated (e.g. SQL, Access, Active Directory, and Spread Sheets).
Understanding of Maximo data Schema’s from 5.2 to 7.6.
•    Report Conversion: Work with other staff to rewrite 189+/- Crystal
reports
•    Assist Project Manager: Identify and prioritize pending project
activities on a weekly basis. Manage assigned issues to closure and confirm
that appropriate corrective actions are taken to resolve documented issues.
Specific task assigned will be technical as well as administrative in
nature
•    Coordination of day-to-day vendor and staff project action items.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
(A)    A four (4) year college program in management science, engineering
management, computer science or related fields
(B)    Minimum three (3) years experience supporting enterprise
applications with an N-tier architecture.
(C)    3+ years working experience in Maximo. Specific experience working
in Maximo v5.2 and v7.6 will be a plus
(D)    2+ years Crystal reports development experience
(E)    Any equivalent combination of education or experience.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
(A)    Strong  work experience skills in Maximo and Crystal reports
development
(B)    Expertise in the following is highly desirable: Maximo, ORACLE, SQL
Server, Stored Procedures, Tomcat, Eclipse IDE, SAP Business Intelligence
Administration
(C)    Ability to write complex SQL statements including multi-table joins,
outer joins, pivot result sets, and hierarchical queries.
(D)    Knowledge of programming languages, troubleshooting techniques,
database structures, triggers and procedures, application server
 platforms, middleware and operating systems.
(E)    Analytical and interpersonal skills.
(F)    Written and oral communication skills.
