CERTIFICATION WILL BE A BIG PLUS Location: Seattle , WA Duration: 6 months rate: Market Job Description: The candidate must meet the following requirements: • Must have at least 5 to 7 years experience in the field of OLTP/OLAP/ETL/Reporting and Data Warehouse development • Working with business users in gathering and analyze reporting requirements • Data Warehouse platform to get access to critical business information to cater to the needs of the business • The engineer should be detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems. • The role will require the ability to extract data from various sources & to design/construct complex analyses to finally come up with data/reports and data warehouse designs that meet the business' requirements • Routinely engage in analysis on many non-standard and unique business problems and use creative-problem solving to deliver actionable output • Use Data Warehouse database tuning techniques to speed-up performance of queries • Use Data Warehouse modeling techniques to design data structures that will provide optimal response times for storage and retrieval • Develop the reporting applications for the business users and clients • Ability to work in a self directed environment. Take project and task ownership and drive them to completion. • Support the team products operationally. Help debug and troubleshoot any operational production problems. • Write and maintain user and technical documentation • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field(Masters preferred) • Experience in working with databases, and MS SQL (a must) in a business environment • Writing, debugging and documenting Stored procedures, Triggers, Views, SSIS packages and Report development using SSRS • Extensive experience in SSAS . • Experience in working with business customers to drive requirements analysis • Experience in providing reporting solutions to solve business needs by leveraging data warehouse data • Experience providing technical customer service or user support • Experience designing and delivering technical training • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and working in a fast paced team and Agile environment • Experience in working with large datasets a plus • Experience in working with reporting tools a plus If interested please send us your resume with visa, rate and contact details ASAP.
