*Position :* Infrastructure Security Analyst *Location :* Jefferson city, MO *Duration :* 12 months *Position Description:* The successful candidate will perform security assessments, Technical architecture reviews, Project Management activities and consulting. *Projects may include:* · Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information · Identify and define system security requirements · Design system security architecture and develop detailed security designs · Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols · A good understanding to configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices · Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks · Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents · Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement · Administer Security Monitoring and management tools like Qradar, Nessus etc. *Requirements:* · Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security · Experience in building and maintaining security systems · Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc · Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols · Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols · Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure · Minimum of 4-7 years of working experience in IT. · Minimum 3 years of experience as Security Engineer/ analyst. · Ability to complete tasks and deliver professionally written reports for clients · Ability to present findings to technical staff and executives · Possess current security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) · Possess IT networking related certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSP) *Optional Requirements:* · The successful candidate SHOULD meet these additional requirements as a plus: · Degree in either Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management · Experience with attacks and mitigation methods, with experience working in two or more of the following: · Network protocols and secure network design; · Operating system internals and hardening (e.g. Windows, Linux, OS X, Android); · Web application and browser security; · Security assessments and penetration testing; · Authentication and access control; · Security monitoring and intrusion detection, Incident response and forensics; · Development of security tools, automation or frameworks.
