Immediate Need for Oracle Apps Functional with O2C modules for a 6 months contract in South Bay Area, CA
Location: South Bay Area CA, LOCALS ONLY Rate: Market Duration: 4-6 months+ CTH * Responsibilities * •Participate and understand detailed processes of the acquiring company in the Order to Cash (OTC) business cycle. Involve in high level understanding of other business process that impact OTC. •Transform current business process to utilize best process approach to arrive at the to-be process. •Understand and document business processes comparing against capabilities within Oracle ERP modules. •Facilitate and Lead meetings with process owners, drive decisions using process analysis, process flow and other techniques that will help in arriving at a decision. •Work with development, QA teams to review business requirements, analyze and propose possible solutions with minimal customization to the core ERP functionality. •Review Business Requirements Document, Write Functional Requirements Document; prepare process flow diagrams, high level use and test cases for review with development and QA. Configuration of Oracle ERP or other systems supporting OTC process. Perform unit testing of developed functionality as needed. Facilitate and conduct CRP and UAT testing cycle with business, support the go-live cut over process. •Act as a liaison between business and IT development, QA and other teams. Experience .•Eight (8+) or more years of strong functional ( 80% Technical and 20 % technical (pl/sql) knowledge in Order to Cash cycle, 5+ years of implementing Oracle ERP applications. •Strong hands on experience in configuration, setup of Oracle ERP applications in Order Management, Service Accounts Receivables modules. •Experience in software industry a plus. •Ability to work with both business focused personnel and technology focused personnel to achieve the overall needs of the M&A initiatives. •Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, etc). •Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with strong presentation skills. •Experience in influencing large teams in a matrix managed environment; demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT and business unit organizations. •Understanding of project/program management principles, SDLC processes, with explicit experience in the application of these principles to IT applications environments.
