*Senior Mainframe Programmer/Analyst RI 6+ Months* Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or a combination of education and experience Skills: Ten+ years experience on IBM AS400 and ISeries platforms using OS400, S/36, COBOL, COBOL LE, DB2, SDA, SEU, Query, CL, DFU, Open Query File, Debug Knowledge of C++, Visual Basic and Java helpful Strong analytical and design skills Five+ years experience working directly with users, developing and maintaining effective business relationships Strong skills in developing, testing and implementation of applications Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Experienced with database design methods and support utilities Experienced with structured programming methodology Working knowledge of file maintenance and report generation methods Working knowledge of data communication protocols and methods Strong written and verbal skills Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously Other Desired Qualifications: Experience in DB2 database administration NOTE: We are not looking for mainframe experience. We are specifically looking for individuals with extensive experience developing COBOL on an AS400 and/or I-Series platform.
