Rate: DOE We are looking for UI developers for a long term contract *Requirement* Responsibilities: Develop web apps using existing RESTful web services Rapid prototyping with high code quality standards Collaborate closely with Software Architects, Developers, and User Experience Designers In this role, you will: - Work with architects, information professionals, and technical product manager to groom the UI backlog. - Identify & brainstorm usability enhancements and user experience designs with UX & interaction designer engineers. - Evaluate and recommend new and emerging user interface products and technologies. - Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding. - Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle. - Develop/write code along with the team (pair programming) to build the user interface. - Work with the team to come up with build & deployment pipeline for the services/applications. Qualifications/Requirements: - Strong coder with design thinking skills - Strong understanding of Lean/Agile methodologies - Proven collaborator with great communication skills - Flexibility to leverage Predix UI elements (Polymer) - Researcher/evaluator of emerging technology, industry, and market trends - Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Polymer, JSON, LESS, Sass, Jquery, Angular and hands-on experience with some back-end technology: eg. Node, Java, PHP, Ruby. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) - A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development OR Master’s degree with 1 year of professional experience. - Be an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and has the ability to implement them using the language of choice.
