*Position**: **Sr. Android developer*
*Location**: **Redwood City, CA*
*Duration**: **9+ months Contract*

JD:
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with a cross functional team to deliver new
features, bug fixes and enhancements to a production Android application
· 5+ years of experience in developing native Android Applications
· Strong understanding of application architecture and
object-oriented design
· Android development experience, with deep knowledge of best
practices, APIs and libraries
· Experience with Git, Github, Pull Request and Rebasing
· A passion for continuous learning and understanding
· Ability to operate in fast-paced, deadline driven, collaborative
and iterative programming environment
· Experience building complex Android Apps that have been
successfully delivered to customers
· 1-6 years of Android development experience with demonstrable
strong understanding of core and advanced Android concepts
· Experience building/ creating and have published an Android app(s)
· Experience with Android Studio
· High proficiency in Java
· Experience/familiarity with Material Design
· Experience/familiarity with Android animations / transitions
· Experience, familiarity with data binding framework
· Experience/familiarity with communication libraries Retrofit /
RxJava / Ion
· Experience with Multithreading and NDK a plus
· Strong software design skills, and experience with advanced
software design patterns
· Ability to work on Windows, Mac, Linux
· Top-notch command of data structures and algorithms
· Ability to use computer science to solve newly encountered
problems
· Experience working with consumer related applications
