The Scrum Master ensures the agreed-upon rules of the team are followed and keeps the team focused on the tasks on hand. Working closely with the Product Owner the Scrum Master assists the team in delivering prioritized backlog items each Scrum sprint. This role is best suited for a person who communicates well, is willing to have an attitude of service for the team while guiding them to the highest level of accomplishment utilizing the Agile/Scrum framework. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
