Scope of Work: QA Test Automation Engineer is being solicited to assist with the build-out of the ILI DevOps Strategic Capability. The primary responsibility is to extend and enhance test automation capabilities required to support the testing aspects of build-and-deploy within a Continuous Integration-Continuous Delivery pipeline. The candidate must have established knowledge and practical experience in test automation design and test automation development via Selenium (Web Driver) using Java (or other supported scripting languages). Practical experience with, or demonstrated exposure to, the following subject areas is also essential: DevOps (CI), Agile Practices, Selenium Automation Frameworks, Selenium Grid and Cloud testing services. Multiple Strategic Capabilities are starting up (Life 2.0, FAST and Death Claims) that require skilled resources to expedite test automation development and mentor Scrum Team members. Employee test automation resources have been deployed to existing Strategic efforts, requiring the need for additional experienced resources. Qualifications: Solid Selenium Test Automation development experience using Java required. Recent hands-on test automation design development experience to support cross browser and mobile device test execution is necessary. Candidates will work in a team environment while mentoring others. Must be able to explain and document major application design decisions and their rationales to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience on large-scale projects at top tier financial firms is a plus.
