an existing team.



CORE JAVA, J2EE, CSS & UI Developer with LIFERAY Architecture



•           Bachelor degree in information systems or other relevant degree
or equivalent industry experience

•           (Java Certification is a plus)

•           Experiences with broad range of J2EE web application
development tools and techniques.

•           Experience in building and maintaining web applications with
back-end systems / databases integration.

•           Knowledge in MVC and OOD design and programming principles as
well as common design patterns.

•           Knowledge and working experience in HTML, JavaScript, Spring,
JDBC, Hibernate, ANT, Maven.

•           Front End Development Skills including CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML
WSDL/SOAP and Restful web services.

•           Basic Knowledge of Networks and Linux OS.

•           Experience with following Tools:

o          Liferay

§          Knowledge of architecture

§          Understanding of site construction, content creation and
publishing.

§          Understanding of out-of-the-box features and customizations.

§          Understanding of Portlet development and deployment.

§          Understanding of hooks and themes.

o          Apache Web Server

o          JBoss / Tomcat Application Servers

o          MySQL Database Server



•           Experience with both maintenance and development projects.

•           Ability to troubleshoot problems at all tiers (web, application
and database).

•           Experienced with the analysis of Web, Application and Database
server log.

•           Experienced with analyzing performance issues for services at
all tiers (web, application and database).

•           Experienced with analyzing browser based web page issues like
styles, JS, HTML etc.

•           Creating processes and techniques that will improve performance
and maintainability of applications.

•           Experience with ticket resolution processes (any).

•           Experience with 24x7 on-call support and facilitating bridge
calls during outages.

•           Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts in coordination with
all support teams (network, DB, OS third party etc.)

•           Ability to interact, communicate and relate with others.

•           Timely, clear, concise respectful communication

•           Seeking additional information to enhance understanding

•           Ability to write professional, technical and business
documentation

•           Ability to identify and escalate matters

•           Collaboration with team members

•           Effective conflict resolution and consensus building

•           Accommodation of diverse interpersonal styles and team dynamics
