*Title: Sr. Java EXTJS Developer ( 2 Position)* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Tenure: 6+ Months* This position will design, develop and complex Spring Framework, Spring Data, JPA based applications *Feedback from earlier Candidature:* • On the plus side: Some high level understanding and at least some experience with Java development for web applications using Spring MVC and Hibernate as ORM tool • Little or no experience in database queries performance tuning / native SQL when necessary, i.e. no experience outside of what ORM can provide • As far as ORM goes – also quite weak on the advanced use of the ORM tool of choice (Hibernate) • On frontend side (ExtJS and JavaScript) – very weak in basic concepts of the JavaScript itself. Very basic experience in ExtJS *Skill Matrix: ( Needed to be filled by candidate)* • ExtJS: ( Years of experience) • Activiti BPM engine : ( Years of experience) • OO design principles and Java & Spring design: ( Years of experience) • Java/Junit Testing: ( Years of experience) • ORM implementation: ( Years of experience) *Responsibilities* - Deliver a complete backend code using Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate in support of Web applications based on leading JavaScript frameworks - Writing high quality tested, idiomatic and documented Java code. - Key team member in agile development team with ability to flex according to business needs. Experience in Scrum methodology and understanding of team member role and definition of done. Skills - Extremely strong core Java experience. Min 7 years. - Strong knowledge of OO design principles and Java & Spring design patterns - Min 3 years ORM implementation experience in a large application. Must have used Hibernate, JPA, Spring Data. - Strong knowledge of Transactions, SQL, multi-threading and SQL tuning. - Passionate for very high coverage on Java/Junit unit, mock & integration testing. **Must demonstrate his code coverage through samples - Extremely strong communication skills. Take task ownership and have a strong desire to learn. - Experience with ExtJS required - Experience with Activiti BPM engine big plus - Experience with IBM DB2, MS SQL Server is a plus - Web and mobile application development experience is a plus *SUBMISSION PROCESS* Resume Submission – Resume + rate + availability must be submitted during this time along with following. 1.
