*Job Description*
We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join our Technology team. This
individual thrives in a collaborative work environment and brings their
applied knowledge of software development best practices to an expanding
team. We are seeking an individual looking for a new challenge at a
smaller, rapidly growing company, where they can have a large impact. The
candidate should be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and
supporting a dynamic team while working collaboratively with internal and
external customers.
*Responsibilities*
• Takes ownership of design and development of modules/projects.
• Performs work with minimum supervision.
• Closely works with senior developers to understand best design and
implementation practices.
• Participate in full SDLC process, voice concerns/suggestions, and
provide solutions that result in better development timelines and
more stable *code.*
• Understands product integrations and various technology stacks well.
• Actively mentors junior developers.
• Ensures development procedures are properly documented and kept
up-to-date.
*Qualifications*
• 2-4 years of solid GUI or web-application software development
experience in Python
*Previous experience with Java, Ruby or C#.*
• Strong understanding of programming theory, object-oriented analysis
and design, design patterns, etc.
• *Strong understanding of database theory and SQL.* (*MySQL experience
is a plus*.). *No SQL experience is a plus.*
• Experience with various web frameworks such as Angular, JQuery, Flask,
Django etc.
• Strong knowledge of Open Source Software and REST API design.
• Possess clear understanding of SDLC and other industry standard
development practices.
• Excellent combination of technical and interpersonal skills with
strong written and verbal skills.
• BS degree in CS/MIS (Preferred) OR equivalent technical experience.
