Feel free to contact me at* 408-457-9381 Ext- 4057* for more information. *Need passport number in case of H1B and EAD.* *Position: **SharePoint Administrator* *Location: **Westerville, Ohio* *Job Description:* The primary responsibility of the SharePoint Administrator is the overall System Administration of DCS and Power Management SharePoint On-Premise and SharePoint Online Farms to ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and high-availability. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* · Manage and check the overall servers health and functionality · Audit and Manage SharePoint permissions · Configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Shared Service Applications including User Profile, Managed Meta Data, and Search Services · Moving/copying Site Collections, Sites, Content, etc. · Regular review of the events and messages reported in Logs · Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites. · Monitor and report trends (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth) · Regularly audit SharePoint environment · Plan, schedule, and deploy OS, SQL Server and SharePoint patches and cumulative updates. · Manage services and scheduled jobs within the SharePoint environment · Perform site backups and restores at all level · Resolve outages, monitor production applications and support day-to-day operations of SharePoint. · Conducts research and development and evaluates tools that maybe utilized in current and future SharePoint applications. · Makes every effort to complete assigned projects on time as assigned by Supervisor. · Brings conflicting issues or concerns to the team supervisor immediately as discovered. · Works with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, Services and other key departments within DCS and Power Management to gather and define requirements documentation necessary for SharePoint application development. · Provide on-call after-hours technical support as needed. · Read and continue personal development to stay abreast of changes and new techniques within the field of application development. · Perform other related duties as assigned. *Mandatory Skills:* • SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 Administration, troubleshooting, and governance. (3-5 years) • Significant experience building SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 multi-tier farms including installing/upgrading and configuring the environment and service applications • Significant day-to-day experience managing and troubleshooting 2007/2010/2013 medium size Farms • MS SQL Server 2008R2 - 2016 (as required to manage SharePoint).
