*Position Description*
- A minimum of 3 years experience In Application development or
equivalent experience
ยท This position will work within a team of application developers
supporting various Level 3 aspects of the plant operations including:
inventory management, quality tracking, shipping, lab, performance
reporting, etc. **
- The developer will work on client/server manufacturing and business
applications written in: PL/SQL, Pro-C, java, html, C#, Perl
- They may get involved with other team activities supporting executive
dashboard reporting from a data warehouse and mobile computing applications.
- They will be working on projects, sharing in providing 24x7 support,
and interfacing with customers.
- They will work closely with the customer to use IT for improving the
steel-making process (identify process improvements and cost savings
opportunities).
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills, both written and
oral.
