ABOUT THE POSITION
The Applications Software Development group is looking to fill a permanent
Software Developer III position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Candidate must
have strong team work orientation, good work ethic and a sense of ownership
of end result.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
· Designs and creates awesome code, working closely with other team
members
· Gets things done. Takes ownership of highly complex tasks and
drives them to completion
· Helps break down and provides estimates for assigned tasks
· Be able to assume a leadership role in the development of complex
systems
· Be able to communicate regularly with the Project Management team
to provide project status including schedule, budget and outstanding issues
· Excellent understanding of system level testing strategies to
deliver quality products
· Continuously acts to enhance knowledge of new technologies,
development processes and project management skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or
equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
· Typically requires 9 years of software development experience
· Strong proficiency in C# and/or WPF
· Strong computer software architecture background
· Thorough understanding of and experience in object oriented
design and programming
· Strong verbal and written English communications skills
· Creative problem solving and ability to effectively communicate
and translate feedback, needs and solutions
· Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster
collaboration within and across teams
