The resource will work closely and collaborate with the business and technology management to ensure that the product roadmap, initiatives and goals are accomplished, through the delivery of high quality releases. *Senior Engineer Duties:* · Member of the Intelligence Hub product development team. · Provides technical direction to the team. · Design, develop and collaborate on system integrations. · Design, develop and collaborate on SOA solutions. · Assist in the elevation of existing solutions to cloud offerings. · Assist in the elevation of cloud offerings to SaaS solutions. · Provides mentoring and assistance to team members to be successful. · Assist in on-boarding of new team members. *Project Team: * · Performs tasks (coding, code reviews, peer reviews, unit testing, integration testing, functional reviews, etc.) during the development release. · Follow software development industry best practices adopted by MHS. · Provides technical guidance to team. *Process Improvement:* · Contribute to agile methodology process through retrospection. *Qualifications* · 6+ years’ experience in overall software development lifecycle · BS/BA in software development or related experience · Programming knowledge in .Net and JavaScript in an Agile environment · Extensive experience developing n-tier applications. · Operational experience deploying, monitoring and supporting a solution. · Team ethic with mentoring skills. · Strong IT experience in quality practices and software development life cycle methodology · Must interface effectively with all levels of management as well a diverse technical team · Experience with ESB/Integration Services *Pluses* - Application Server Experience: WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS, Node.js - Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Team City, Jenkins or Cruise Control) - Experience with Maven - Experience with Linux and Windows Server - Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy, Jython, PHP) a plus.
