As a Peoplesoft Business Analyst you must possess expert level analytical
and problem solving abilities and the ability to communicate effectively



PeopleSoft version 8.9

Expertise in the following areas of PeopleSoft - Core HR, Payroll, Base
Benefits, Benefit Administration, Pension Administration, foundation Tables
and  North American Payroll

Full understanding of the table structure behind the HRMS modules

Must have experience with People tools

In depth administration experience

Key PeopleSoft skills:  job tables and base benefits

Experience with Personal electronic action forms – automating and updating
tables (a way to update data, routing it for electronics approval and being
able to carry the data)

Very detailed orientated.

The group they’d be a part of writes all public QUERY’s so this person must
be able to write multiple QUERY’s and able to QA it to know if you are
getting the right data set.

The group also responds to institutional data requests  (must be able to ask
what they want, inquire to get data needed to determine what the groups
actually want to do with the data)

Excellent Excel skills – create pivotal charts and compare

Salary administration – go thru their salary increase problems – being able
to QA the data before it gets loaded –

Understanding of relational database concepts and strong SQL and QUERY
skills

Ability to create accurate estimates from functional specifications

Experience with Requirements Definition, gathering, mapping and gap-analysis



Beneficial Skills:

 Peoplesoft Reporting

 Peoplesoft Analytics

 Optimization and process improvement
