Applicants will need to show solid experience and ability in security, recoverability, performance tuning, and database availability. This position will provide expert database design, development, implementation, and administration of database systems. In addition, the position will provide application development skills and the ability to identify new technologies that will facilitate and enhance business functionality. Candidates must have excellent writing and presentation skills. Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science/related degree or equivalent industry experience *Skills required:* *Develop databases, procedures, reports, and data migrations *Design, optimize, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and databases *Develop data migration strategies and ETL processes *Document and update procedures and processes *Work closely with software engineers and system administrators to ensure performance, availability and integrity *Perform data analysis and identify root cause of data inconsistencies *Respond to data errors and drive to resolution *Review and recommend emerging database and web technologies *Perform database infrastructure design, refactoring, data validation, application updates and troubleshooting as required *8 years min.
