I wanted to check your availability for an URGENT position we have. *Please find below the detailed job description for your reference. * *If you are interested please send me your updated resume along with your expected hourly rate.* *Data Warehouse Specialist – ETL Specialist* *Boise, ID* *3 months Contract* *Client - Idaho Transport department* ITD Seeks the services of a skilled Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) developer with extensive experience using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and who can help not only create the SSIS packages to do the ETL but also assist in defining best practices for managing, maintaining, troubleshooting and executing the packages. The successful candidate will be working with ITD staff developers to complete the work. The work location is primarily Boise, Idaho area. The majority of time will be required to be done in Boise at the department’s headquarters building; however, some remote work is feasible for the well-qualified candidate. Contractors are required to indicate the candidate’s primary residence location to aid ITD in determining applicability of a fully burdened rate, and its subsequent evaluation of the Contractor's rate proposal. *Expected Deliverables* - Work with ITD staff to *validate data mart elements* and approach to ensure the finished data mart will in fact provide the necessary data elements for the in-scope reports – Anticipate *one week *to on-board and understand the direction of the project - *Design and document* database table structures for each assigned dimension or fact table based on the reporting requirements identified for that table – we will negotiate time required but will initially anticipate *two weeks for each assignment set (*each assignment set will consist of either four dimension tables; two dimension tables and one fact table; or, two fact tables*) – *this expects the consultant will work with ITD staff to understand, define and document the requirements for the dimension and/or fact table and to clarify the source of the data, define ETL approach and ensure all requirements are identified and set prior to SSIS work on the assignment set. - *Create assigned data mart dimensions and/or fact tables* – Using SSIS create the ETL packages that will result in the desired data mart dimension table or fact table. This includes testing and migration from Development environment to Test environments. Several dimensions are very simple and consequently should take less time to complete.
