*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 7 + years Advanced design and administration skills in RDBMS,
Data-warehouse especially Microsoft SQL Server.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of Performance tuning of Database and
query/stored procedure
- Understanding and overcoming poor execution plans
- Experience building scalable software that can handle varied
distributions of client data
- Expert knowledge of T-SQL, No-SQL programming
- Expert knowledge of Data Modeling and Normalization Concepts
Advanced design and administration skills in RDBMS, Data-warehouse
especially Microsoft SQL Server.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of performance topics including:
o Performance tuning - Database and query/stored procedure
o Understanding and overcoming poor execution plans
o Building scalable software that is resilient to
unanticipated distribution of data in client
environments
Expert knowledge of database technology including:
o T-SQL, No-SQL programming
o Data Modeling and normalization Concepts
Description:
The Senior systems analyst is responsible for implementing and analyzing
complex systems for the Company
which includes planning development, testing, and deployment processes for
various departments, and they
will report progress to informational systems managers. Experience in
RDBMS/Data-warehouse along with
demonstrated ability in driving and developing enterprise level data
architecture, logical and physical Database
design for efficient reporting and analytics. Hands-on experience with BI,
ETL, Data Modeling and Big Data
concepts in the Healthcare, specifically insurance Industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business process to translate into information architecture
design and build database to meet functional, performance and reporting
requirements.
- Design and implement data-mart / data warehouse to manage
healthcare-utilization data and related performance KPIs as a Database
Administrator.
- Application of relevant project management tools and SDLC experience
as and when required.
- As an Application DBA, review existing programs to improve process,
code and database for optimal performance.
- Design and maintain Code Library with stored procedures of high
complexity to meet data processing requirements.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of healthcare products and services
so as to design data architecture / reporting requirements.
