*SQL Data Analyst*
*Duration – 6 months with possibility to extend*
*Location – Redmond, WA – Local candidates only – in-person interview
required*
• 5+ years’ experience in BI development, with emphasis on
visualization design and delivery.
• Strong T-SQL, MDX and DAX skills and experience deriving scalable
reports from data management frameworks. Should have experience in building
complex calculations & measures using DAX/MDX
• Experience with SQL Server Tabular Model and DAX required
• Big Data experience required. Experience with Cosmos and scope
queries highly desirable.
• Must have experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence
(BI) Technology stack from SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and using BIDS, SSRS.
SharePoint BI portal experience highly desirable.
• Experience developing with PowerBI & PowerQuery highly desirable.
• Must have experience with SSAS, MDX and Time-Analytics.
• Some experience in scripting languages like JSON, PowerShell will
be an advantage.
• Knowledge on Azure Data services (ASA, ADF, ADC etc.,) will be an
advantage.
• Will be responsible for development and ongoing enhancement of
the BI solution. This responsibility will include development of T-SQL
views as well as designing cube solutions with BIDS or SQL
Server Data Tools. You should be able to demonstrate advanced
cube design capability in building role-based security solutions and
time-analytical solutions.
• Data forensics (i.e. identifying issues with data streams,
reports, troubleshooting analyzing the data problems)
• Will be responsible to work with system users and managers to
define requirements and manage the backlog
• Will be expected to make recommendations for improvement of the
system architecture
