*Kansas City MO* *Required Skills* Responsibilities: • Lead and manage projects/programs of varying degrees of complexity. Projects are typically interrelated, occur simultaneously, and require integrated planning and oversight. • Create and drive the execution of project plans including managing project budgets and resources, performing risk management, issue resolution and change management. • Own all communication activities related to projects/programs including internal and external stakeholders. • Develop and present high quality stakeholder presentations that clearly articulate findings and opportunities in a visual manner for executive audiences. • Manage all aspects of the project/program by leading and fully engaging with globally diverse and cross-functional teams. • Define business challenges by collecting and analyzing the voice of the client and business to ensure project/programs support the goals of the company. • Work across a highly matrixed organization taking into account regional and cultural nuances. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project or program manager which will include the following: • Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques, managing within the defined project management framework. • Strong critical thinking skills with proven experience and knowledge in data analysis and presentation. • Strong problem solving skills are needed to resolve complex and/or diverse business challenges. • Ability to utilize data and the subject matter expertise of the project team members to identify and evaluate root causes. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience working with and presenting to Executive Level Stakeholders. • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel. • Ability to work independently and receive minimal guidance on assignments. • Experience utilizing best practices and the knowledge of others to improve processes, products and technologies. Desired: • Prior experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. • Green Belt certification. • Experience with MS Project, Minitab and Visio.
