*Java Python Developer*

Candidates must be proficient with standard Java and Python development,
including software design and design patterns, open source frameworks
(e.g., Spring, Hibernate), build tools (e.g., Ant, Maven) and popular IDEs
(e.g., Eclipse). Some exposure or experience with the NodeJS development
stack is a plus (npm, MongoDB, Express, Mocha).

Lead Back-End Developers must have IT consulting experience, be familiar
with a team approach to execution, possess effective written and verbal
communication skills, and be willing to travel.

*Responsibilities*
• Act as technical lead on JEE engagements, including requirements
gathering, design, development, and testing
• Produce high-quality, modular, reusable JEE code that incorporates best
practices
• Mentor junior developers
• Accurately report issues and status to project management

*Required Experience / Skills*
• Completed at least three full professional software engineering projects
across multiple platforms
• Have core Java (JDK 1.6+) and Python 2.6+ expertise
• Expert in object-oriented and functional programming concepts
• Proficiency with software design fundamentals and design patterns
• Proficiency with computer networking and Unix fundamentals
• Experience with build tools (e.g., Ant, Maven, Gradle) and continuous
integration
• Understanding of UML diagrams
• Experience with project management tools such as issue trackers (e.g.,
Jira, Bugzilla, FogBugz)
• Understanding of web application concepts and HTTP protocols
• Proficiency with web languages, including HTML and JavaScript
• Experience working with open source frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Experience with enterprise application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat,
WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss)
• Proficiency with relational database fundamentals (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Source control experience with Git and Subversion (e.g., branching,
merging)
• Understanding of object/relational mapping concepts or experience with an
implementation (e.g., Hibernate or other Java Persistence API)
• Some exposure or experience with the NodeJS development stack a plus

*Nice to Have*
● Knowledge of a cloud hosting platform (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Azure,
Google, OpenShift, Rackspace)
● Experience with alternate scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, PHP,
Groovy, Ruby)
● Strong enterprise integration experience, including experience with
middleware solutions
● Experience with a major content management system package (e.g., HP
TeamSite, Adobe Experience Manager)
● Familiarity with Unix / Linux platforms
● Experience with a major or JEE-based enterprise search engine (e.g.,
Fast, IDOL, Solr / Lucene)
● Familiarity with non-relational / NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB,
Couchbase)
