*Position: Tester* *Location: Clarksburg, MD*
*Duration: 12 Months* *Description:* - Working knowledge of *QTP*,automation suites and running the scripts. - *VB* Programming knowledge. Need not to-be expert. - *SDLC* & *QA/testing methodologies* - Testing automation domain knowledge. - *SQL queries* (must be strong) - *Black-box* & *white-box* testing *Responsibilities:* - Run the automation suite developed by automation team. - Analyze the run time issues and able to fix minor problems arrived during execution. - Create test input data and analyze test results. - Create and maintain test plans and approaches. - Define, document, execute and track manual and automated test cases and related artifacts for smoke, integration, system, regression, load and performance testing. - Gather and report testing metrics to the SQA, project and product management teams - Review requirements documents to acquire domain knowledge and for early detection of functional and design defects. - Actively participate in the development of feature as a member of agile teams. - Define, document, monitor and support the testing environments. - Document defects and spot-test system to verify corrected issues. - Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, perform research, and, Review & test user documentation, online help and user manuals. - Other duties as assigned. *Education and Experience Requirements:* - BA/BS in computer science or comparable experience - Min. 5 years of professional experience as part of an IT organization - Min. 2 years of experience as a SQA tester - Min. 2 years of experience with Windows XP, HTML, SQL server and Oracle - Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and tools, and SDLC - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans for complex systems - Advanced knowledge of SQL queries, web-based applications, GUI and regression testing - Must have automated testing experience using industry leading tools - Must have experience developing system requirements and conducting black-box and white-box testing - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft technologies - Experience testing CRM, e-Commerce, POS, inventory management and accounting systems is highly desired - Expertise with Scrum/Agile is a strong plus - Knowledge of ASP, Oracle, .NET Framework and Linux is a plus *Other Required Skills:* - Self-starter with ability to work either independently or as a team member - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical skills - Competent in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems in a timely manner - Ability to handle deadline pressure Regards Ejaz Talent Acquisition Manager Symphony Enterprises LLC 412 250 7227 (Tel) | 412 774 9230 (Fax) [email protected] | www.symphonyenterprises.com WMBE & NWBE Certified Company A Member of Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
