Security Analyst Location: Cincinnati, OH Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months CTH Note: Client will like to have right to hire or the project could go longer. Provide salary expectations. Overview: This position will be part of a Security Operations team to support the day to day management of the existing firewall platforms as well as the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure. The environment consists of an enterprise class network with multiple locations and a complex architecture. Primary Job Responsibilities will include: * Manage day to day support and project enablement of the enterprise firewall environment (Checkpoint, Cisco, IPTables) including rule management, VPN implementation, new firewall builds, troubleshooting and issue resolution * Manage the Security Operations ticket queue and follow the change management process * Ensure standards and procedures for network security are applied and implemented * Participate in on-call rotation Secondary Job Responsibilities will include: * Provide support for all aspects of Active Directory including users, groups, security, DNS, PKI, DHCP, and other areas as needed * Manage current and new Active Directory implementations including Windows 2003 and 2008 * Perform other tasks and assist with security projects as assigned Qualifications: * College degree in technology / sciences or equivalent work experience * Experience: 5-7 years as an IT professional with demonstrated increasing responsibility and breadth of knowledge. * Proven hands-on experience with firewalls and knowledge of IP networking including DMZ configuration, encryption, IPSec, PKI, VPNs, SSL, proxy services and DNS * A solid understanding of supporting Checkpoint, Cisco and IPTables firewalls * Must have strong troubleshooting skills in both firewall and Active Directory Administration * Core Competencies/Knowledge Needed: * Interpersonal Skills: Partners with internal/external customers both inside and outside of American Financial Group through the development of positive and effective relationships * Attitude: "Can-do" approach to challenges and issues.
