You can also send me your updated resume and let me know the best time to reach you and I would be happy to call you and discuss about the role in detail. *Title: SAP MDM Consultant* *Location: Walnut Creek, CA* *Duration: Long term* *Start Date: ASAP* *Visa: Only USC/ GC/ GC-EAD (No H-1B’s)* *Job Description:* • Partner to set strategic master data direction and develop and improve processes and data flow. • Develop MDM program and strategy for new SAP ERP rollout across 5 divisions. • Create and execute plans based on understanding of business stakeholder strategy/goals. • Work cross-functionally with various business units and super users to achieve goals and improve efficiencies. • Utilize master data expertise to effectively and efficiently manage projects. • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels on updates, adds, transition and changes to the system, data, and processes. • Identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement of data quality, processes and standards. • Responsible for data integrity and stewardship for SAP software including customer, vendor and material. • Leading data extraction and cleansing activities. • Eliminate data redundancy and standardize shared data. • Coordinate and support the data mock-conversion. • Supporting data cut-over and dual data maintenance activities close to go-live date. • Ensure complete and high quality data for production loads. *Skills:* Flexible, adaptable and process improvement oriented, with experience in Projects and change management, Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, problem solving, and decision-making ability, Proven ability to lead and complete projects and achieve results, High level of personal initiative and ability to function autonomously with a strong sense of urgency and comfort with new and rapidly changing situations and environments, Demonstrated ability to work with all organizational levels and work effectively in a team environment, Vast understanding of databases and ability to analyze data and metrics , Proven ability to understand and articulate how master data strengthens critical business objectives, Strong verbal and written communication skills. *Experience:* Minimum 1-2 year of experience with data conversion/migration with ERP (preferably SAP), Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and SQL, Strong background in a similar role using SAP. *Knowledge:* Knowledge of SAP MDM/ERP practices, concepts and Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, Materials Management, and Quality Management functionality in SAP. *Education:* Relevant IT background, B.Sc Engineering or similar - Typically a BA/BS, MBA or equivalent, with at least 5 years of related experience all.
