Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location (City): NYC,NY Project Duration: Long Term Interview Type: Telephonic followed by face to face *Requirement Description:* Overview This is a developer and production support position for our application where knowledge of PL/SQL is paramount. This is a very data centric position. Ability to comprehend complex data relationships with an eye on performance is critical. *Responsibilities* · Develop and maintain PL/SQL code, primarily as store procedures. · Help resolve production issues. · Perform complex data analysis on VLDB · Maintain scripts used to populate reference tables. · Ensure performance of all scripts are optimal in our Oracle RAC environment · Work with DBA to ensure maintenance scripts execution has proper controls (e.g., counts) · Work with application teams to help resolve data quality issues · Work with the application teams to help maintain production reference data Soft Skills · Ability to analyze and solve problems and work with the team to identify and fix the root cause of the problems (be it data quality, performance, or programmatic) · Strong understanding of relational concepts · Good communication skills – written and oral · Team player that is also self-motivated · Must be able to deliver within short time frames · Must be able to debug, test, and tune performance of SQL code Specific *Technical Skills* · 5+ yrs of IT experience · 2+ yrs experience working with VLDB (1+ yrs production support on VLDB) · 5+ yrs Oracle experience – with 2+ yrs experience in 10g · 5+ yrs programming in SQL and PL/SQL · ETL experience a plus. *If interested, please reply with resumes matching above requirements along with these details:* Have you consulted with your candidate on above requirement?
