Role: Business Analyst Duration: Above 3 Months Location: Long Island City, NY **Only Local Candidates** SCOPE OF SERVICES: The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is planning to build out its eOrder application, a robust electronic lab test ordering application to allow all NYC providers and lab directors to electronically submit arbovirus lab test orders to DOHMH’s Public Health Laboratory in a seamless and user-friendly manner. Features of the eOrder application will include modules to capture provider/submitter, patient, and specimen order information, as well as display order and results stats for providers to view. DOHMH also requires security integration for public users. Help/FAQ guides for providers will also be developed. DOHMH is seeking one (1) consultant to serve as a Business Analyst (BA) for the eOrder Application project. The BA will be responsible to identify the business needs for the eOrder application from multiple bureaus within DOHMH and translate the needs into software requirements. The consultant will perform the following duties: • Analyze business rules and write technical requirements for the public facing application • Write functional requirements and policies to implement the public facing application • Identify and document workflow which complies with all DOHMH and NYC Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) security rules and regulations • Solution Architecture document • Security Accreditation Document in accordance with DOHMH and DoITT guidelines • Functional and technical design documents • Functional Acceptance testing plan • Develop testing result reports and write corrective actions • Bill of Materials (BOM) infrastructure document.
