*Sr./Lead Accounts Payable (AP) Automation Business Analyst * *Duration: *5-6 Months
*Location:* Stamford, CT (06902) *MOI::* T + F *Client::* WWE *Situation:* WWE is automating their manual AP process by integrating Hyland Onbase to their JDEdwards environment. The issue is their AP process is very decentralized today. Employees are manually approving invoices with signatures which get collected by AP. AP is then fact-checking these invoices against a spreadsheet and then sent to current AP partner (EXL - supposed to be offshore, but is in NJ) and gets scanned. Integration Solution: Onbase is an AP automation & workflow solution made by Hyland software which is known for their ECM (content management) — document management and workflow solutions. This automation project launched 8 weeks ago. The early stages are going live in Q1/Q2. The go-live target date is end of March 2017 with 1-2 months post go-live support. The vendor (Hyland) has been onsite twice to get requirements to go off and build the solution. They have not had much success documenting the process as the Finance team is having a difficult time communicating with them. Finance does not understand the technology or questions being asked by Hyland. *Challenge:* The challenge is introducing a new AP process to Finance (“transformation”), and to do so successfully tech must translate Finance’s existing AP processes into the new solution, bridging the gap between Hyland’s development group and Finance users This role will be the key communicator between Finance & Technology. This role will sit with Finance in HQ 4x/week to document existing processes and translate those to requirements, then ensure Finance is comfortable with requirements. This role will define test cases and determining who should be testing.
