They are looking for very hands on coding Web Architect specializing with Java development and someone with strong communication who can mentor Developers and be a Technical Lead for a team! This contract position is to support budgeted Digital Initiatives for 2017, including but not limited to: Digital Foundation features, WebChat, Website Accessibility, Account Management and Specials initiatives. The Web channel accounts for 75% of the digital sales volume, and without this role the Web team will not be able to deliver all of the budgeted capital projects for 2017. Responsibilities: The Web Architect will provide technical direction, thought leadership, and hands-on support for client’s digital products, enabling client to lead the industry in exploring, creating, and supporting highest-quality, "customer first" experiences in various digital channels. This role is part of a team accountable for the conception, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of various business-critical applications many of which are customer-facing. Specifically, the focus for this role will be our responsive website channel. This role is responsible for the reference architecture and solution design relative to these digital assets, through deep participation in the product engineering life-cycle. A successful candidate will also be able to directly support the broader team in bringing the technical designs to life through working software.
