*Position Description:*
· The Salesforce Developer develops configures, codes, tests, and debugs
complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software or
purchased software packages.
· Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation
support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
· Follows Salesforce.com’s best practices and guidelines in implementing
solutions.
· Possess strong communications skills.
· Able to work on multiple concurrent projects.
· Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow
direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in
technical planning.
· Shall maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers,
supervisors, and customers and present a positive team environment and
customer focus.
· Shall adhere to OCIO work rules.
· Communicates and collaborates with other technical resources and
stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions
· Researches and keep current on force.com technologies and communicates
trends and future needs from a business perspective



*Skills:*


· The ability to develop and support applications using Service Cloud,
Sales Cloud,
· Marketing Cloud, Community, Visual Force, Chatter and the Force.com
platform.
· Conceptualizes prepares and creates detailed technical specifications
from which complex programs will be written or configured
· Develops solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
and VisualForce. Complies with all required Company policies and practices
relating to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Develops custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce.com
APEX and Visualforce pages
· Writes, tests, analyzes and implements high-quality code according to
specifications
· Understands and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs and components of
Salesforce AppExchange for developing custom objects
· Creates reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and
analytical requirements of the business users
· Provides Tier II Support for Salesforce applications and manage service
tickets needing escalation to Salesforce
· Supports Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates,
workflows, automated approvals
