You’ll put your passion for developing great software to use every day while working within a team comprised of business analysts, project managers, testers, quality assurance analysts, and client stakeholders. You will help to develop and deploy eye-catching and superior web-based, client/server, mobile or data system applications. *Required Skills & Background:* - Bachelors Degree or higher in a related field. - Must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future need for a visa sponsorship. - Minimum 6 years experience building Web applications or server based applications. - Experience with ASP.NET MVC 4, ASP.NET, .NET 4.0+, and C#. - Recent experience using AJAX to improve the user’s experience when using your application. - Strong relational database development experience (SQL Server 2008+, Oracle 10+). - Experience developing RESTful Web Services using Web API, WCF, or similar technologies. - A solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and Agile Software Development methodologies. - Self starter who can work independently or within a team. - Must have a desire and drive to learn new technologies, and to continuously learn and grow as a professional and as an individual. - Must have a passion for creating and delivering software that is both high quality and highly innovative. - Must have excellent programming, analytical, and problem solving skills. - Must be self-motivated and able to collaborate with a diverse set of people from many disciplines. - Must be able to understand and appropriately respond to client needs. - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). *Bonus Skills & Experience:* - Experience optimizing database structures for performance and/or maintainability and the ability to design and optimize stored procedures. - Experience using JavaScript frameworks to improve front end functionality. - Knowledge of Hibernate or EclipseLink is a plus for Java. - Working knowledge of Entity Framework, Git, Visual Studio, Database IDE, and Jenkins. - Previous consulting experience. - Experience within the government domain.
